Recruitment Consultant (Temporary Desk Industrial Sector) Chester| Full 360 Role | £28-32k Basic + Uncapped CommissionAre you an experienced Temp-focused Recruitment Consultant who thrives in a full 360 role and genuinely enjoys building relationships with both clients and candidates?Meridian Business Support is recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to join our award winning branch based in Chester , supporting a busy temporary desk with a strong focus on industrial, logistics, warehousing and manufacturing roles across the Chester area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys running their own desk, developing new business and delivering a high-volume, high-quality temp solution.The RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position , working Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm . Youll manage the complete 360 recruitment lifecycle, working closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to grow and maintain a profitable temporary desk.Key responsibilities include:Sourcing and placing candidates into temporary assignments across industrial and logistics environmentsManaging all branch enquiries via phone and email from both clients and candidatesWeekly payroll responsibility for 40+ temporary workersWriting and posting engaging job adverts across job boards and internal platformsConducting telephone screens, face-to-face and WhatsApp video registrationsBuilding and maintaining strong client relationships through regular contact and on-site visitsNegotiating rates and terms with both clients and candidatesGenerating new business using sales, business development, marketing and networking techniquesIdentifying leads and converting them into sales opportunitiesArranging and attending client meetings to present Meridians recruitment solutionsKeeping CRM records fully up to date and compliantUnderstanding market trends, margins and competitor activity to maximise performanceAchieving KPIs and contributing positively to the wider branch successYour own transport is essential due to regular client visits.What Were Looking For - Were keen to hear from ambitious recruitment professionals who can demonstrate:At least 2 years experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Temp Consultant or Internal RecruiterProven experience recruiting within industrial sectors (warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, production)A successful track record of running a temp deskideallyStrong relationship-building and customer service skillsA proactive, sales-driven and target-focused mindsetConfidence, resilience and a whatever it takes team attitudeWhats in It for You?
