Are you a qualified carpenter with supervisory experience of fire door assessment, maintenance and installation within a commercial setting? Our client is recruiting a new Lead Fire Door Technician in London due to rapid expansion. You will be working on mixed commercial clients including commercial buildings, hospitality organisations and the NHS sites within central London. As the department grows, this role offers a clear pathway into management.Key responsibilities include:Carrying out fire door repairs, installations and remediationCompleting fire door and fire stopping surveysEnsuring projects are delivered on time and to specificationMaking good and finishing works to a high standardManaging call-outs within agreed SLAsProviding a professional, positive experience for clients on-siteSupporting other technicians when requiredOur client is looking for a motivated, reliable individual who takes pride in delivering quality work and building positive relationships on-site.Essential: Proven experience in fire door installation, maintenance or remediationStrong joinery background with excellent attention to detailSolid understanding of fire door compliance and quality standardsAbility to read drawings, specifications and schedulesStrong organisational and communication skillsFull UK Driving LicenceProactive, hard-working attitudeConfident client-facing communicationDesirable: Working to FIRAS, BM TRADA or similar accreditationSSSTS or SMSTSCSCS CardCarpentry qualificationAsbestos AwarenessPASMA and/or IPAFExperience within healthcare or commercial sectorsThis is an opportunity to join a business that continues to grow and invest in its people.
