We are looking for someone to be based at our site in Merlin Park , who can drive a culture of positive engagement whilst confidently juggling multiple priorities from advising stakeholders on HR issues and managing Trade Union relationships, to leading communication strategies, supporting recruitment and induction, and ensuring retention and redeployment activities meet statutory and company requirements.This is a part-time, permanent position where youll be working Monday Friday, between the hours of 09:30 14:30.Pay, benefits and more:Were looking to pay £21,000.00 per annum with 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata). Youll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!What youll do on a typical day:Support, coach and advise key stakeholders on all HR issues, including discipline, grievance, absence management and performance improvementAssist in devising and implementing colleague communication and engagement strategies at site levelDeal with Trade Union representatives on all employee related matters on a daily basis and with Full Time Officials as appropriateContribute to the provision of systematic and effective recruitment, selection and induction processes, involving the recruitment team where appropriateCo-ordinate and manage the HR activity required to ensure that retention and redeployment activities are executed in line with statutory and company requirementsSupport a reduction in the potential for costly litigation by conducting regular and effective site HR reviewsWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Experience of working in a similar fast-paced HR team, ideally within a logistics or distribution environment, dealing with complex ER casesPrevious experience of dealing with Trade Union negotiation is highly desirableCIPD Level 3 qualified, or working towardsExperience of undertaking a broad range of tasks including working with and advising line managers on employee relations issues and being involved in setting up processes and systemsKnowledge of employment law with experience working within a unionised environment is highly desirableWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.TPBN1_UKTJ
