HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver – SalisburyPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our growing waste and recycling operation based in Salisbury .This is a fantastic opportunity offering stability, excellent rates of pay, and long-term opportunities within a professional waste and recycling environment.This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Refuse Driver, Refuse Truck Driver, Waste Collection Driver, Recycling Driver, or Dustcart Driver .Shifts• Monday to Friday  • 06:30 start timeRates of Pay• £15.50 per hour  • Weekly payBenefitsAs an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will receive:• Ongoing work with full training and support  • Weekly pay  • Immediate starts available  • Free on-site parking  • Opportunity to make a positive community impact  • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignmentDay-to-Day DutiesAs an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, your duties will include:• Carrying out full daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects  • Driving the refuse vehicle safely along assigned collection routes  • Operating bin-lifting equipment to empty waste and recycling containers  • Working safely as part of a collection crew and following loading signals  • Ensuring all waste is collected efficiently and routes are completed  • Following strict health and safety procedures at all times, especially in public areas  • Recording and reporting issues such as missed bins, contamination, or access problems  • Providing excellent customer service when dealing with members of the public  • Assisting the collection crew where requiredEssential SkillsTo be successful as an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will need:• A valid UK Category C Driving Licence  • A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences  • No major endorsement codes  • Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality  • Good communication and customer service skills  • A good understanding of road safety and transport compliance  • The ability to work as part of a team in a physically demanding roleDesirable Experience• Previous multi-drop delivery experience would be advantageous  • Previous experience driving refuse vehicles within the waste management sector would be beneficial  • Experience working in outdoor or physically demanding roles would be desirableTraining Provided• Full industry-related training provided  • Ongoing support and development throughout your assignmentApplyIf you are ready to take on this opportunity as an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver , apply today or contact our recruitment team for more information.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
