Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator tojoin our client in Erith . The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical knowledge and experience with various tools and machinery. This role involves operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, ensuring quality standards, and supporting production processes.ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor various manufacturing machinesSet up machines using drawings and tooling specificationsProgramme and troubleshootPerform routine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments on machinery to ensure smooth operationHandle materials efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving components within the workspaceMaintain accurate records of production output and machine performanceFollow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment at all timesWorking in a fast-paced production environmentReliable and punctual with a strong work ethicWillingness to work either morning or afternoon shifts as requiredQualificationsProven experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing environmentsBasic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during setup and operationWarehouse experience or familiarity with materials logistics is advantageousGood organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are metShiftMonday to Friday, 6am - 2pm (flexible to switch to 2pm - 10pm once trained and if needed)Pay£14.50 whilst in training. £15.08 when fully trainedThis role is suitable for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a high-quality manufacturing process while expanding their technical expertise.TPBN1_UKTJ
