Due to continued expansion, they are looking to bring their finance function in-house and are recruiting a hands-on Finance Manager / Financial Controller to play a key role in the next phase of the business.Working closely with the Directors, you will take ownership of the finance function, overseeing everything from day-to-day financial operations through to management reporting, cash flow and commercial analysis.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business where you can make a real impact, develop the finance function and progress towards a Finance Director position as the company continues to expand.What's on OfferCompetitive salary dependant on experienceGenuine progression towards Finance DirectorOpportunity to shape and develop an in-house finance functionFlexible approach to hybrid working22 days annual leave plus bank holidaysAdditional annual leave awarded for length of service (up to 5 extra days)Company pension (currently 4.5% employer contribution)Supportive and growing business with genuine long-term career prospectsKey ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the company's finance functionProduce monthly management accounts and financial reportsManage cash flow forecasting and reportingPrepare budgets and financial forecastsMonitor profitability across projects and provide commercial analysisOversee purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control where requiredReconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial recordsLiaise with external accountants and auditorsSupport payroll and statutory financial requirementsDevelop financial processes, controls and reporting proceduresAssist with implementation and ongoing use of Procore softwarePresent financial reports and recommendations to DirectorsIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitabilityPrevious experience within a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar senior finance role is essential.
