Job Title : Health and Safety Facilities ManagerSalary: Up to £60,000 p.a. (DOE)Contract Type: PermanentHours: Monday Thursday 8.30am 17.00pmFriday 8.30am 16:00pmNext Generation have been appointed to lead the recruitment for a Health and Safety Facilities Manager to work with an engineering business who supply parts into multiple industries. As the Health and Safety Facilities Manager you will be responsible for promoting a positive H&S culture across the clients manufacturing facility whilst implementing, and monitoring business policies and risk assessments to ensure alignment with UK and EU legislation.Duties of the Health and Safety Facilities Manager:Providing advice and support to teams to meet requirements of legislation, ISO standards and company processes & proceduresSupporting implementation of HSE Policies to drive improvements and gain / maintain certificationPromoting a proactive approach to HSE management including regular floor walks & contact with supervisors & managers to ensure issues are clearly understood and effectively managed.Investigation of site issues, accidents, incidents including production of accident & incident reports and root cause analysisFacilitating the delivery of corrective and preventive actions for significant issues in conjunction with the relevant teams / managersInternal Auditing / Supplier auditing with reporting and follow up of findingsThe successful candidate for the Health & Safety Facilities Manager position will have the following experience:3 5 years experience as a Health & Safety Manager (Essential)NEBOSH & or COSHH certified (Essential)3 5 years experience working within a manufacturing/production environment (Essential)Absolute understanding of ISO14001 & 45001 (Essential)Due to the high number of applications, we receive, we are sometimes not able to respond directly to each candidate.
