Job Title: Bodyshop Strip Fitter Location: Coalville Salary / Hourly Rate: £19.50per hour (LTD)Job Type: ContractAbout the RoleOur client, a busy and well-established automotive accident repair bodyshop, is currently seeking an experienced Strip Fitter / Vehicle Strip & Fit Technician to join their team in Coalville.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled bodyshop technician / MET strip fitter / vehicle dismantler and reassembler who is confident working on a wide range of accident repair and insurance-repair vehicles.You will be responsible for the strip down, refit, and rebuild of vehicles to support the full repair process, working closely with panel beaters, MET technicians, and paint technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality repairs.Key ResponsibilitiesStrip down vehicles involved in accident repair workRemove and refit mechanical and trim components to support panel and body repairsAssist with vehicle dismantling and reassembly (strip & fit work)Ensure all parts are stored, labelled, and refitted correctlyWork closely with panel technicians, MET technicians, and paint teamsRebuild vehicles to manufacturer and safety standardsMaintain a clean and safe working environment within the bodyshopSupport efficient workflow to ensure vehicles move smoothly through repair stagesAbout YouExperienced Strip Fitter, Vehicle Strip & Fit Technician, or Bodyshop TechnicianStrong background in automotive accident repair or bodyshop environmentsConfident with vehicle dismantling, stripping, and reassemblyGood understanding of mechanical and trim components (MET awareness desirable)Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bodyshop settingHigh attention to detail and quality workmanshipWhats on Offer£19.50per hour LTD rateOngoing contract with consistent workloadOpportunity to work within a busy accident repair bodyshopWeekly pay options availableSupportive and experienced workshop teamKeywordsStrip Fitter, Vehicle Strip Fitter, Strip and Fit Technician, Bodyshop Technician, MET Technician, Vehicle Dismantler, Vehicle Reassembler, Accident Repair, Bodyshop Repair, Automotive Technician, Crash Repair, Panel Strip FitterTPBN1_UKTJ
