Quest Employment is currently recruiting for an experienced Closing Room Supervisor to join a well-established footwear manufacturer based in Northampton.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor with a background in footwear manufacturing who is passionate about quality, production efficiency, and leading a skilled team.The Role As a Closing Room Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operation of the Closing Room, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.Your responsibilities will include:Supervising and supporting the Closing Room teamPlanning and allocating daily workloads to maximise productivityMonitoring production output and ensuring quality standards are metCarrying out quality inspections and resolving production issuesLiaising with production planning and other departments to maintain workflowSupporting and developing team members through guidance and coachingAssisting with booking in and booking out of work where requiredMaintaining machinery, equipment, and a safe working environmentProviding hands-on support within production when neededEnsuring compliance with company procedures and Health & Safety regulationsWhat We're Looking For Previous experience in a supervisory role within a footwear manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of Closing Room operations and production processesExcellent leadership and communication skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloadsA quality-focused approach with excellent attention to detailProactive, reliable, and able to motivate a teamWillingness to support production with hands-on duties when requiredWhat's in it for you?
