The business is a well-established company and are looking to expand their talented quality team by recruiting a full time and permanent HSE AdvisorIf you meet the person specification below, apply now for an immediate response!The Job you will do:Strive for continual improvement in the companys Health and Safety and Environment performanceMaintain compliance with the companies s Health and Safety (ISO45001) and Environment (ISO14001) accreditationsMaintain sites risk assessment process and monitor completion of assessments and all actions.Record accident and near miss incidents; conduct investigations and report health and safety statistics monthly to senior managementChair monthly Health and Safety reviews and oversee action recording / completion.Conduct regular practice fire evacuation drillsMaintain site fire safety proceduresMaintain sites chemical usage, including completion of COSHH assessments and maintenance of MSDSAdvise on personal protective equipmentAdvice on H&S trainingLiaise with external agencies to conduct environmental monitoring, as required.Prepare annal Pollution Prevention PermitProtect the companys professional reputation and safeguard the future of the business and its employeesProvide cover for general Quality Assurance duties, e.g. product sample collection, internal audits, lab testing and preparation of certificates of conformity and analysis .About you:It is essential you hold a NEBOSH qualification.Ideally experience with BRC or Food Manufacturing will be preferred.High standards of personal conduct and professional performanceEffective written and verbal communication skillsGood team player; ability to work as part of a team and alone on own initiativeAbility to think and plan aheadReliable and flexible to manage changing prioritiesAccurate with good attention to detailA positive, proactive and constructive approach to problem solvingTPBN1_UKTJ
