Job Title: Bank Community Oncology Nurse SACT / Chemotherapy - £29.40ph - London & M25Flexible Bank Shifts for Experienced SACT and Chemotherapy Nurses London & M25Are you an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse or SACT Nurse looking for flexible bank work in London that fits around your life?HomeLink Healthcare is recruiting B ank Community Oncology Nurses to join our Hospital at Home service, delivering safe, high-quality cancer care to patients across London and the M25 - in the comfort of their own homes.We are offering £29.40 per hour, plus 55p per mile paid from your front door, enhanced rates for weekends and Bank Holidays, and the freedom to choose the shifts that work for you.This is an ideal opportunity for bank nurses , NHS oncology nurses seeking additional income, or experienced chemotherapy nurses looking to maintain their SACT skills alongside other commitments.Why Bank Nurses Choose HomeLink Healthcare £29.40 per hour competitive bank rate55p per mile paid from home not just from a base locationEnhanced rates for weekends and Bank HolidaysYou choose your shifts genuine flexibility with no fixed commitmentFull clinical support and leadership on every shift you are never working in isolationOngoing SACT reaccreditation and training supportedIdeal for portfolio nurses, NHS nurses seeking additional income or those returning to oncology practiceWork across London and the M25 community and home-basedWhat You Will Be DoingAs a Bank Community Oncology Nurse / Bank SACT Nurse , you will deliver specialist cancer care directly to patients in their homes across London and the M25.Your responsibilities will include:Administering Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) safely and competently in the community settingUndertaking pre-chemotherapy blood sampling and monitoring treatment responsesManaging IV therapies and central venous access devices including Port-a-Cath and PICC linesMonitoring patient conditions and escalating concerns to the wider clinical teamMaintaining accurate clinical documentation and patient recordsProviding emotional support, education and practical advice to patients and their familiesCollaborating with consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, pharmacists and multidisciplinary teamsParticipating in handovers, MDT discussions and clinical governance activitiesPromoting patient wellbeing, independence and quality of life throughout treatmentWhat We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a Registered Nurse with solid oncology and SACT experience who is confident, caring and able to work autonomously in the community on a bank basis.Essential requirements: Active NMC registrationMinimum three years' post-registration nursing experienceDemonstrated oncology nursing and SACT experienceCompetency in venepuncture, cannulation and IV drug administrationExperience managing central venous access devices (Port-a-Cath and PICC lines)Confident working independently within the communityExcellent clinical judgement and communication skillsFull UK driving licence and access to your own vehicleRight to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for this role)Coming from an NHS or hospital oncology setting?
