With a strong reputation for precision, quality workmanship and reliable service, they manufacture bespoke products to meet customer requirements.Operating from a modern workshop environment, the company uses industry-standard machinery and processes, with a strong focus on efficiency, quality and continuous improvement.Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Press Brake / Laser Setter Operator to join their skilled production team.About The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Setter Operator looking for a stable, long-term position within a growing engineering business.The successful candidate will ideally have experience setting and operating both Press Brake and Laser machinery . However, candidates with experience in only one area will also be considered, provided they are willing and able to train in the other discipline.You will be responsible for setting machinery, producing quality components from engineering drawings and ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesSetting and operating Press Brake and/or Laser cutting machineryReading and interpreting engineering drawings and specificationsSelecting correct tooling, materials and machine settingsCarrying out first-off checks and quality inspectionsMeasuring components using relevant inspection equipmentMaking adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality requirements are metWorking with sheet metal components within a fabrication environmentIdentifying and resolving basic machine or production issuesMaintaining a clean, safe and organised working areaAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience setting and operating Press Brake and/or Laser machineryAbility to read and work from engineering drawingsExperience within a sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environmentGood attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality workA willingness to learn and develop skills across both Press Brake and Laser operationsA reliable and positive attitude with a strong work ethicAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCandidates who are experienced in either Press Brake or Laser setting and are keen to expand their skillset will be considered.ApplyTo apply for the Press Brake / Laser Setter Operator position, click Apply Now and upload your CV.
