Brook Street is recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the chemical manufacturing sector for a Site Operations Supervisor to join their team at their site in LS3 (Kirkstall).This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and proactive supervisor to work within a quality-driven manufacturing environment, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of site operations.Working closely with the Managing Director, you will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across the site.The RoleFull-time, permanent positionMonday to FridayLocation: Kirkstall, LeedsHours: 7:00am - 3:00pmSalary: £50,000 - £52,000 per annum DOEPension schemeMedicashFree on-site parking25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidaysKey Responsibilities:Support the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of site operationsCoordinate planned site activities and respond effectively to operational issuesEnsure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and industry regulationsMaintain high standards in line with quality management processesIdentify opportunities for process improvements and increased operational efficiencyMonitor operational performance and costs to support productivity targetsProvide guidance and support to staff, promoting safe and effective working practicesWork closely with senior management on site improvement projects and business initiativesManage third-party contractors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within budgetSupport environmental and sustainability initiatives across the siteAssist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team membersPromote a positive Health & Safety culture and ensure compliance at all timesWhat We're Looking For:Level 4 HNC or similar in Mechanical Engineering and some Electrical bias experienceIndustrial boiler experience is essential, BOAS (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme) would be an advantagePrevious supervisory or leadership experience within a manufacturing, production, operations, or industrial environmentStrong understanding of site operations and manufacturing processesKnowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance requirementsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with senior managementExcellent organisational and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and team leadership abilitiesA proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellenceApply TodayIf you are interested in this opportunity, apply today through Brook Street Recruitment Agency.
