Assistant Accountant, £28,000-£32,000 plus benefits, RiponOur client is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing finance experience and gain exposure to month-end reporting, financial analysis and process improvement within a supportive and collaborative environment.Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function while developing your technical accounting knowledge and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with daily banking activities and cash reconciliations.Support month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, journals, and financial reporting.Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.Assist with audit preparation and compliance activities.Provide general finance and administrative support to the wider finance team.Contribute to improving finance processes and strengthening financial controls.About YouPrevious experience in a finance or accounting position.Strong Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Good communication skills.This is a full time office based position, working 9-5pm Monday to FridayTo apply, please submit your CV today.
