Health & Safety Coordinator12-Month Maternity CoverPart-Time | 2530 Hours per Week (School Hours Available)£26,000 - £38,000 Dependant on experience and hoursAbout the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and organised Health & Safety Coordinator to join our Operations team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced H&S professional to help drive a positive safety culture across the site while supporting operational excellence.The successful candidate will work closely with site management and operational teams to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and compliance are maintained at all times.Key Responsibilities: Health & Safety CoordinatorPresent Health & Safety monitoring reports at Daily Review Meetings and support mitigation planning.Conduct static and dynamic risk assessments alongside functional teams.Carry out site monitoring activities including behavioural safety observations, GEMBA walks, hazard identification and unsafe act reporting.Support the Health & Safety forum by producing and analysing KPI data and trends.Assist managers with safety incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions, sharing lessons learned across the wider UK business.Act as the main site contact for managers, safety representatives and employees on HSE matters.Coordinate and arrange relevant safety training and eLearning activities.Liaise with the HSE, local authorities, customers and other interested parties where required.Support regional and corporate HSE improvement plans and KPI reporting.Host regional compliance audits and help implement corrective action plans.Deliver and support in-house safety training and eLearning initiatives across the site.Skills & Experience: Health & Safety CoordinatorIOSH Managing Safely qualification or higherStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to analyse data and identify trends for continuous improvementExperience supporting operational Health & Safety activitiesHACCP Level 2 would be advantageousLean Six Sigma Yellow Belt is desirableILM Level 3 Managing People is desirableBenefits:Life assurance from day oneCompany Pension schemeMaternity and paternity pay schemeChristmas vouchers for you and your childrenLong service awardsOngoing training and development opportunitiesOvertime opportunities availableOur new perk box offering a wealth of benefits such as: -Money off purchases such as food, drink, cinema, tickets, clothing, and homeware and so much moreA number of freebies across the perk box site, such as free coffeesOnline access to free exercise and yoga classes with 24/7 access to qualified therapistsPlease apply to this position for immediate review contact Nathan Turtington UK Internal Recruiter - for more information.TPBN1_UKTJ
