Job Description:Paint PrepperLocation: PortsmouthSalary: £30,000 - £34,000 + 20% shift allowanceShifts: Rotating Double Day Shift(Earlies 06:00-14:00 / Lates 14:00-22:00)We are currently looking for an experienced Paint Prepper to join a busy and well-established operation in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong eye for detail who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes.The Role:As a Paint Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing vehicle bodies to a high standard prior to painting, ensuring all work meets quality and production requirements.Key responsibilities include:Preparing vehicle bodywork for paint, including sanding, masking and primingEnsuring all surfaces are clean, smooth and ready for a flawless finishWorking efficiently to meet production targets while maintaining quality standardsCarrying out quality checks on prepared surfacesKeeping the work area clean, safe and well organisedWhat We're Looking For:Proven experience in vehicle paint preparation or bodywork prepExcellent attention to detail and pride in workmanshipAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamComfortable working a rotating double day shift patternWhat's On Offer:Competitive salary of £30,000-£34,000 plus a 20% shift premiumStable, full-time position within a skilled and supportive teamOpportunities for training, development and career progressionIf you're an experienced Paint Prepper looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
