This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role offering career stability, overtime opportunities, and an excellent benefits package.The RoleAs a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on plant machinery.Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Complete welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs.Perform oxy-acetylene burning and bench fitting.Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise production downtime.Maintain accurate maintenance records.Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and overhead cranes where required.About You NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering.Time-served apprenticeship preferred.Previous mechanical maintenance experience within heavy industry or manufacturing.Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits £40,000£45,000 including shift allowance.Overtime available.33 days holiday (including shutdown periods).Company pension.Death in Service benefit.Healthcare cash plan (following qualifying period).If you're an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a secure, long-term opportunity with a well-established manufacturer, apply today with your CV.TPBN1_UKTJ
