Site Manager - Highways

Simply Recruitment are working with a well established civil engineering contractor that has secured a strong pipeline of highways work across the Liverpool City Region. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from £40k to £4m , working closely with local authorities and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality highways schemes.The Role You'll be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they're delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.Projects include:Traffic signal installations and upgradesDucting and utility infrastructure worksCarriageway resurfacingFootpath and pavement reinstatementsGeneral highways and public realm improvementsWhat You'll Be Doing Managing day-to-day site operationsCoordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teamsMaintaining programme, quality and commercial performanceEnsuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislationLiaising with clients, local authorities and project stakeholdersProducing site documentation, RAMS, permits and progress reportsWhat We're Looking For Previous experience as a Site Manager within highways or civil engineeringExperience delivering local authority highways projectsSMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential)NRSWA Supervisor and Temporary Traffic Management experience would be advantageousExcellent communication and organisational skillsFull UK Driving LicenceWhat's on Offer?
