Join us as aMaintenance Supervisor.We have a fantastic opportunity for a competent and motivated Electrical Supervisor to join our team. Youll have line-management responsibility for contractors,engineers,andoperatives. Youll organise and schedule onsite activities associated with the maintenance, refurbishment and modification of traffic signals, ancillary equipment and highways systems. Your varied work will cover a full range of technologies and provide opportunities for teamwork, problem solving, learning and growth. Primarily this is a role that will coverour prestigious customer events and Supplementary Worksand will involveclose liaison with multiple stakeholders.Responsibilities:Youll beSupportingthe TTC Maintenance Team for allOrdered Maintenance within the TTC Contract for TFLHave a lead role in planning and delivering Events in North and Central London. This includes Royal, Military, State and Sporting eventsmaking this role at timeshigh profile for Yunex.ManagingSupplementary Worksissuedfor North and Central London and ensuring these are all planned and delivered within timescales and budgetary guidelinesPrepare detailed financial claimswithin defined timescales and ensurecorrect submissions leading to prompt paymentEnsuring all employees,subcontractors, and third-party stakeholderswork safely for all Ordered maintenance worksAssist in the delivery of other Maintenance related worksincluding trainingAssist with managing the engineering team in all support functionsEnsure stock is organised, booked accurately and available forany Ordered Maintenance worksMonitor and promote health and safety practices and reporting within the teamQualifications & Experience:Youllbe an experienced Traffic Signals Engineer with either orbothInstallation and Maintenance experienceHave a strongcustomer focus andsupportiveof all stakeholdersHavestrongleadership and team management experience and enjoy motivating and educating othersYoure co-operative,resourceful, willing to use your initiativeas this role will require a lot of diplomacy at timesbeing a focal liaison point forTFL and the Area Teams, the Royal Parks staff and at times Eventorganisers and the Met police.You're able to manage multiple complex tasks, staff and organise materials, employees and sub-contractorsYou are accurate, reliable and enjoy getting things right first timeYoure able to communicate clearly, work well with others, and promote good team moraleYoure confident working with IT equipment include a tablet and laptop and can learn new softwareMust hold full UK Driving License and we provide a company vehicle and tools for the jobYou enjoy working outside and at heights and have a strong understanding of safe working practicesWe offer:Competitive base salary plus annual bonus26 days holiday (rising to 29 with service37.5 hour working week plus paid overtime and unsociable hours upliftCompany vehicle, tools, PPE, and uniformExcellent pension scheme with up to 10% employer contributionFlexible benefits tailored to your needsOngoing training and development, including support for professional membershipsHow do I apply?We can only accept online applications.
