This 14 month FTC role will be responsible for reviewing invoices, validating and creating new vendor set-ups, while exercising judgement and identifying issues that require escalation or additional care. This role will be located in our Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.Job description Responsibilities & Qualifications Other key responsibilities include:Exercising judgment and identifying issues that require escalation or additional careReviewing invoices to identify risk factors and recalculating and footing amounts, including quantity and price extensions and tax calculationsReviewing workflow or manual approvals to determine if additional approvals are requiredReviewing accounting documents for completeness and mathematical accuracyCommunicating with vendors and internal customers regarding requests and providing updates on progressRequired profile Wed love to hear from you if you:Possess the ability to read invoices in various European languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Russian, and SpanishDemonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focusExhibit knowledge of VAT input tax processes and related ratesAnd have:A high school diploma or equivalentA bachelors degree in accounting or a related field, preferablyExperience in accounts payable or a similar functionExperience with accounting principles in one or more European countries, preferablyWhat we offer Benefits & Additional Information Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
