We are looking for an organised and proactive Fleet Service Administrator to join our team based at our Ecclefechan depot.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and organisational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Operations Director, you'll play a key role in coordinating the servicing, maintenance and administration of our commercial fleet, helping to keep our vehicles compliant, well maintained and ready to support our operational requirements.You'll also work closely with colleagues across the Group assisting with fleet administration, vehicle repairs, accident management and insurance claims.The Role You'll help coordinate the maintenance and administration of our fleet by:Coordinating vehicle servicing, inspections, MOTs and repairs.Scheduling preventative maintenance to maximise vehicle availability.Maintaining accurate fleet records and documentation.Monitoring vehicle maintenance schedules.Liaising with workshops, suppliers, tyre providers and parts suppliers.Providing administrative support for vehicle accidents, insurance claims and repair coordination.Assisting with vehicle disposals and contract hire returns.Producing reports on fleet performance, compliance and operating costs.Supporting initiatives to improve efficiency and minimise vehicle downtime.Providing general administrative support to the fleet and operations teams.What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys keeping things organised, has excellent attention to detail and thrives in a busy environment where no two days are the same.You'll ideally have:Previous administration experience.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.A proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Experience within a fleet, vehicle service, workshop or maintenance environment would be highly desirable.
