Are you a Graduate or Trainee Quantity Surveyor looking for a role Do you have the skills to provide cost forecasts and costs controls and general QS services to a range of customer programmes Are you a Graduate Quantity Surveyor looking for a role where you can develop your skills and work closely with Directors and team membersKingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor or Trainee QS to support the cost forecast and cost control or various development, refurbishment and retrofit programmes across their customer base.As the ideal candidate you will be a Graduate QS or have trained in a QS , Cost or Construction Management team. You will be happy being office based in Cannock and get out to UK based customer sites.Your role will involve:Cost Forecasting and Control:Production of cost forecasts to support acquisition and feasibility reportsProduction of specifications for Landlords dilapidations, repairs and enabling worksPreparation of capital investment and ongoing revenue expenditure reportsStandardisation of cost control documentation and matricesProduction of Bills of QuantitiesClient advice and risk analysisTender Documentation and ProcurementPreparation of tender documentation and management of tender processCost analysis and tender reporting,Value engineeringValuations and cost managementFinal account reporting and reconciliationOther DutiesUnderstanding and advising on procurement strategyAssisting with measured building surveys and inspectionsPro-active liaison with Clients and their representativesProduction and Updating of internal reportsDefect reporting and cost estimationsLiaison with internal teamAny other duties required by the needs of the business.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the dynamic business.
