Working within a close-knit engineering team, you will support both proactive and reactive maintenance across a modern food manufacturing facility.You will carry out planned maintenance to minimise downtime, respond quickly to breakdowns, and contribute to continuous improvement projects. The role will see you working on a wide range of automated machinery including conveyors, sorters, and robotics, ensuring production targets are consistently met.You will also be involved in equipment upgrades, maintaining engineering stores, and accurately documenting all work completed to support effective shift handovers.What You'll Bring:Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringStrong fault-finding ability across electrical and mechanical systemsExperience working in a manufacturing or production environmentGood understanding of PLC fault finding via HMI, and working with invertersMechanical capability including bearings, pneumatics and general maintenanceA proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a teamFull UK driving licence due to shift patternsReady to Apply?Contact Andy Jones to find out more.Please apply with a CV and a cover letter outlining why you're perfect for the role.We do our best to respond to every application, but due to volume, we can't always guarantee it.
