This is an exciting opportunity to undertake groundworks, building works, remediation, reinstatement and OFTEC works on site in relation to company projects. You'll play a crucial role in environmental remediation and construction projects, working across varied sites while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out site works under the direction of the SEED Remediation Team Leader, Contracts Manager and/or appropriate staffUtilise your own initiative, skills and knowledge where appropriateKeep sites tidy, clean and safe, ensuring daily checklists are adhered toDrive machinery and undertake hand dig excavation works to facilitate contamination removalSupport the maintenance and servicing of equipment, raising awareness of faulty equipmentAssist with collecting photographs throughout works for documentation purposesCarry out works in accordance with health and safety regulations, including relevant RAMS documentationAssist with spill response operationsUse power tools to carry out intrusive construction worksIdentify potential hazards and work in a controlled manner around site-specific environmentsAttend training sessions, toolbox talks, and team meetings as requiredSkills, Knowledge & ExpertiseEssential Requirements:Previous experience of working on site in construction and/or remediationAbility to operate plant and machineryAbility to manage personal time to achieve high levels of productivityFull UK driving licenceCan-do attitude with an adaptable approach to work in a varied and sometimes challenging environmentBasic DBS checkWillingness to work away from home when necessaryDesirable:Willingness to expand skill set and identify learning needsKnowledge of contamination removal proceduresExperience with OFTEC worksSalary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary and provide a comprehensive range of benefits including:Holiday entitlement increasing with service (up to 25 days plus bank holidays)Company pension schemeLife insurance (2x annual salary)Enhanced sick pay and employee assistance programmeOvertime rates and meal allowances for away workSEED Environmental is an equal opportunities employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.To apply, please submit your CV and a covering letter explaining why you're the right fit for this role.TPBN1_UKTJ
