Dispatch Team Leader

PSM Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Dispatch Team Leader to join a well-established and successful manufacturing business.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse or dispatch supervisory experience who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high standards and ensuring customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time.The RoleAs Dispatch Team Leader, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the dispatch department, ensuring deliveries leave on schedule while maintaining excellent quality, safety and housekeeping standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading, motivating and supporting the dispatch teamPlanning and prioritising workloads to meet daily dispatch targetsEnsuring accurate stock control, booking of goods and completion of dispatch documentationSafely operating forklifts, pallet trucks and narrow aisle reach trucksMaintaining high standards of quality, organisation and housekeepingEnsuring Health & Safety and company procedures are followed at all timesWorking closely with production and other departments to ensure customer delivery deadlines are achievedAbout YouWe're looking for someone who has:A valid Fork Lift Truck LicencePrevious Team Leader or Supervisory experience within a warehouse, dispatch or logistics environmentStrong IT and numerical skillsExcellent organisational and communication skillsA proactive approach with the ability to lead by exampleExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standardsThe ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing prioritiesHoursMonday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pmFriday: 8:00am - 1:00pmIf you're looking to join a friendly, growing manufacturing business where your leadership skills will make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
