Maintenance Engineer

Following continued site investment and growth, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer / Technician to join the team at their Basingstoke facility.What youll be doing:Working as part of a high-performing engineering team, this Maintenance Engineer / Technician role will play a key part in maximising uptime across manufacturing, facilities, and laboratory equipment. This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same, combining reactive maintenance, preventative activities, and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities include:- Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across manufacturing, facilities and lab equipment- Supporting instrumentation calibration and maintaining validated specifications- Diagnosing faults and implementing effective corrective actions- Working alongside contractors on specialist maintenance activities- Supporting commissioning of new equipment and processes- Contributing to continuous improvement and optimisation of maintenance strategies- Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety, quality and compliance standardsWhat were looking for:- Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation etc.)- Experience in a maintenance role within a regulated or manufacturing environment- Understanding of preventative maintenance and calibration activities- Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a teamWhy join?- Stable, growing global organisation with continued investment- Strong team culture and collaborative engineering function- Clear opportunity to develop technically and professionally- Excellent benefits package and regular pay reviews- Modern, well-equipped site environmentIf you have an engineering qualification and hands-on maintenance experience within a manufacturing or regulated environment, wed love to hear from you.
