Barty House Nursing Home is set in an impressive Georgian building in Bearsted, Kent, combining historic charm with modern facilities. The home provides high-quality nursing care for up to 59 residents in bright, ensuite rooms, many with garden access and countryside views, all delivered with empathy, compassion and dignity.Activities Lead Contract £14.45 per hourContracted to 32 hours per weekPaid DBS, pension, uniform provided5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)Role OverviewAs Activities Lead, you will take responsibility for developing and delivering a high quality, engaging and person centred activities programme. The role plays a key part in enhancing wellbeing, promoting independence and creating a positive, stimulating environment.You will plan and lead both group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs, including those living with dementia. Building strong relationships will enable you to deliver meaningful and inclusive activities that encourage participation and social interaction.Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will ensure activities are well organised, consistent and aligned with individual care plans.
