Lathe MachinistBased in Wolverhampton Full Time Permanent Role Circa £45000 packageWe are seeking a professional and experienced Lathe Machinist to join a precision engineering company in Wolverhampton.This company are heavily involved within the aerospace sector and due to growth are adding to their machining team, and have an exciting role of Lathe Machinist readily available.Contract and Benefits of Lathe Machinist:- £16+ per hour basic pay - Lots of overtime at premium rates - average annual remuneration is £45000 - 40 hours per week - Based on set day shift - 28 days holiday + bank holidays - Pension enrolment - Onsite parking - Canteen - Investment into people - training and developmentKey responsibilities of Lathe Machinist:Set and Operate Capstan Lathe Safely and Effectively. Monitor Machinery and Report Problems. Monitor Coolant Levels and Top up as required. Ensure ones own safety and that of others. Cooperate with employer on OH&S training and guidance. Do not interfere or misuse anything provided in the interest of health & safety. Ensure PPE is worn when required. Promote and health and safety workspace for all.Key attributes of Lathe Machinist: Two years experience in a similar environment operating capstan lathe or similar. Read and Understand Engineering Drawings. Set and Operate Tangi-Flow Roller Box Attachment. Set and Operate thread rolling heads. Set and Operate Die Heads. Experience with Grinding and Forming tooling. Experience with Exotic Materials (Inconel, Titanium, etc). Knowledge of Inspection Techniques and Measuring Equipment.
