Plant Manager – Energy from WasteExcellent basic salary + location allowance + car allowance + generous bonusOxfordshire/BuckinghamshireSCINERGY Recruitment are looking for a Plant Manager to join an established EFW power station in the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire area.This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for site performance. The successful candidate will take ownership of plant operations, maintenance delivery and financial performance, ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.Key responsibilities include:Overall leadership and management of the EfW facility, with responsibility for operational performance and profitabilityEnsuring safe, reliable plant operation while meeting availability, throughput and power generation targetsFull ownership of site financials, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and cost controlManaging and developing the site team, covering recruitment, training, performance and succession planningLiaising with commercial teams, local authorities and external stakeholders to ensure contractual and regulatory obligations are metDriving continuous improvement across operations and maintenance, working with central engineering functions where requiredMaintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance across the siteThe ideal candidate will have:Significant management experience within power generation or a similar heavy process environment at Plant, General, Operations or Maintenance Manager levelA minimum HNC qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, chemical or similar)Strong leadership and people management capability at a senior levelProven experience managing site budgets and P&LContract management experienceA solid understanding of HSE best practice - IOSH or NEBOSHPackage on offer:An excellent base salary, dependent on experienceA location allowance of £2,600Car allowance of circa £8,000Performance-related bonus – details on requestA contributory pensionPrivate medicalOpportunity to join the flagship plant in a growing fleet of EFW plantsFor more information or to apply, please contact Steve or Callum at SCINERGY Recruitment on 02030 386 115 or emailTPBN1_UKTJ
