World Class Defence Organisation based in Bristol is currently looking to recruit 2x Systems Engineer Verification & Validation Certification subcontractors on an initial 12 month contract.Rate: £70.00 per hourOvertime Rate: Hours worked over the standard 37 hours per week, will be paid at time and a quarterLocation: BristolHybrid / Remote working: 3 days a week onsiteDuration: 12 Months with very likely extension. Contracts are often ongoing and long-term thereafter.IR35 status: Inside IR35 (Umbrella)Systems Engineer- V&V Certification Job Description:The recent commencement of the NAREW export contract for Poland alongside the support of the British Army system and production of systems for other contracts sees the Land Ceptor functional development team needing to grow to support this varied portfolio.The role is within the Land Ceptor weapon system design team, as a Systems Engineer focused on the verification, validation and certification of the Land Ceptor product with a focus on the Functional aspects of the systemResponsibilities:Working as part of the certification team to capture and review evidence, conduct technical investigations and support the delivery of Certificate of Designs to enable customer deliveries.Reviewing technical documentation in support of functional evidenceReview and agree Design Verification Plans (DVP)Design reconciliation activities associated with design change and obsolescenceWork within a multi-discipline engineering team (e.g. Systems, mechanical, electrical, software etc)Identify verification gaps, track issues, and support corrective actions.Support certification activities by preparing and reviewing compliance documentation, verification reports, and evidenceSkillset/experience required:Experience of IBM Rational Doors ClassicProven ability to analyse evidence and assess compliance against requirements.Knowledge of Verification & Validation (V&V) processes and methodologies.Experience preparing compliance documentation and certification evidence.TPBN1_UKTJ
