Account DirectorHard Facilities Management University AccountCentral LondonSalary guide - £90,000Trevett are pleased to be recruiting for an Account Director to deliver the Hard FM Services to a world-class London University. The client is a specialist M&E Building Services Contractor with the PPM maintenance engineering contract onsite in Central London, with significant project work on top.The Account Director will spearhead the strategic and operational leadership of Hard FM services, with a focus on delivering excellent building maintenance, compliance, and lifecycle services. This role ensures that facilities run efficiently, safely, and in alignment with educational standards and contractual obligations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of Hard FM services including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building fabric maintenanceLead a team of technical and operational professionals, ensuring optimal workforce performance and developmentEnsure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations (e.g. SFG20, HTM, and DfE guidelines)Develop, monitor, and report on KPIs and SLAsManage financial performance: budget control, forecasting, cost-saving initiativesBuild and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for escalations and strategic discussionsDrive continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on safety, sustainability, and service qualityOversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programs and reactive works deliveryLead on mobilisation and transition of new contracts when applicableSkills & ExperienceProven experience in managing contracts of £8m with the ability to manage up to £15m.Proven leadership experience in FM, preferably in the education sectorStrong understanding of health & safety regulations, compliance standards, and asset lifecycle managementExcellent financial acumen and contract management skillsStrategic thinker with ability to lead multi-disciplinary teamsExceptional stakeholder management and communication abilitiesFamiliarity with CAFM systems and industry best practicesQualificationsTechnical qualifications in engineering or building services (e.g. HNC/HND, NVQ Level 4+, or equivalent)IOSH / NEBOSH certification (preferred)Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. BIFM, CIBSE)TPBN1_UKTJ
