Apply Now for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as the Paint Sprayer / Workshop Technician include:Prepare Equipment for Sale: Carry out basic mechanical procedures and prepare trucks ready for saleChange Tyres: Remove, fit and stock tyres on wheels ready for workshop useMaintain Workshop Standards: Keep work areas clean, organised and compliant with health and safety proceduresClean Equipment: Steam clean and manually clean trucks and attachments to required standardsDisassemble and Reassemble Components: Remove and refit wheels, panels, batteries and attachments as requiredSupport Workshop Operations: Prepare paints, clean tools and organise workshop materialsInspect Surfaces: Check equipment for contamination, damage and imperfections prior to paintingComplete Preparation Work: Clean, degrease, sand, fill and mask surfaces before paint applicationApply Spray Finishes: Apply 2-pack paint systems to forklifts and attachments to achieve a high-quality finishOperate Workshop Equipment: Use compressors, air guns, clean air systems and heating controls safely and effectivelyCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSPrevious experience in paint preparation, spray painting or a similar industrial environmentProven knowledge of surface preparation techniques and 2-pack paint systemsExperience using sanding, masking, priming and spray painting equipmentA strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulationsAbility to work independently with excellent attention to detail and time management skillsGood hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for manual workshop dutiesBasic mechanical knowledge and willingness to undertake training where requiredA positive, reliable and proactive approach to workBENEFITS23 days paid holiday plus Bank HolidaysOn-site parkingWorkplace pensionHOW TO APPLYTo be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
