HGV Class 1 Driver – Multi-Drop – WolverhamptonPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver – Multi-Drop to join our well-established client based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands (WV10) .This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a busy transport operation.This role would suit candidates with previous experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver, Commercial Driver, or Truck Driver.Shifts• Monday to Friday  • AM start times between 03:00 – 06:00Rates of Pay• £17.00 per hour (Monday to Friday)BenefitsAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive:• Excellent hourly rates  • Weekly pay  • Ongoing work  • On-site canteen  • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment  • Immediate starts available  • Employee wellbeing programmeDay-to-Day DutiesAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:• Completing Class 1 multi-drop deliveries (maximum two drops per shift)  • Operating Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently  • Carrying out pre-use and post-use vehicle inspections  • Ensuring all loads are safe and secure before departure  • Adhering to all road traffic legislation and transport regulations  • Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers  • Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly  • Assisting with loading and unloading where requiredEssential SkillsTo be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:• A valid UK Category CE (Class 1) Driving Licence  • A minimum of 24 months' Category CE driving experience  • A valid CPC Qualification Card  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences  • No major endorsement codes  • A good level of spoken and written English  • Excellent punctuality and time management skills  • A strong understanding of road traffic legislation and vehicle safety  • Good communication and customer service skillsDesirable Experience• Previous commercial Class 1 driving experience  • Multi-drop delivery experience  • Experience within palletised or general haulage distributionTraining Provided• Driver assessment required prior to starting  • One-day paid induction following a successful assessment  • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignmentApplyIf you are looking for ongoing work with excellent rates of pay and long-term opportunities, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
