We are the multi skilled hands-on practical support that helps our colleagues deliver services to our customers.We work with customers who have Complex support needs, such as mental health, ex-offenders, young families and learning disabilities across a mix of properties and grounds. As our handy person, youll spend much of your time working across different services, extra care service and properties.What you'll doPerform minor or emergency repairs, decorating and cleaning in properties and communal areas, including some gardeningHandle tasks like hanging curtain poles, moving furniture, touching up paint, changing washers, unblocking sinks, mowing lawns and clearing grounds.Carry out regular fire safety checks.Work with colleagues, contractors and customers.Liaise with Customer Service Centre and contractors to report and follow up on repairs outside your remit.Why join usYour skills make a real difference to people's lives and communities.
