About the Company:
\nTemplegate Recruitment is proud to be working with a well-established, independent financial planning firm seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner or Paraplanning Manager to join their growing business.
\nThis opportunity has arisen as the current Senior Paraplanner is progressing into a Financial Adviser position, creating an exciting opening for someone looking to take the next step in their career.
\nThe business has a close-knit and collaborative culture, with a dedicated team of four paraplanners. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys remaining hands-on while also leading, mentoring and supporting a small team.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Lead, manage and develop a team of four paraplanners. \n
- Produce high-quality suitability reports and financial planning documentation. \n
- Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection products. \n
- Work closely with Financial Advisers to deliver excellent client outcomes. \n
- Review and maintain high standards of report writing and technical accuracy. \n
- Provide guidance, mentoring and technical support to the paraplanning team. \n
- Assist with process improvements and ensure efficient workflow management. \n
- Utilise Salesforce and other internal systems effectively. \n
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry legislation and regulatory changes. \n
What We're Looking For:
\n- \n
- Previous experience as a Senior Paraplanner or in a Paraplanning leadership role. \n
- Ability to lead, motivate and support a small team. \n
- Excellent technical knowledge across pensions, investments and financial planning. \n
- Strong report writing and analytical skills. \n
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems. \n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills. \n
- Ideally Chartered Financial Planner or Fellow qualified; however, candidates with significant paraplanning experience and strong technical ability will also be considered. \n
Desirable Skills:
\n- \n
- Chartered Status or Fellow qualification. \n
- Previous people management or mentoring experience. \n
- Strong technical and compliance knowledge. \n
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small, supportive team. \n
- Passion for developing colleagues and improving processes. \n
