Class 1 Shunter (Nights) Temp to Perm£19.16 per hour (£45,864+ per year)45 guaranteed hours per week9-hour night shifts- 19:00-04:30amWeekly pay once permanentDuties include:Onsite trailer shunting using a tug unit (40ft & 44ft trailers)Moving trailers to and from trailer parks and hubsCoupling and de-coupling trailersCompleting vehicle and trailer safety checksPulling trailer curtainsSecuring loads when requiredReporting any defects or damageScanning trailers and completing movement recordsAdhering to all driving hours, CPC and site safety regulationsRequirements:Minimum 2 years' Class 1 (C+E) experienceNo more than 6 penalty pointsValid CPC and Digital Tachograph CardExperience working in busy yard or site environmentsTug trained is desirable, but not essentialThis is an excellent opportunity for a Class 1 driver looking for guaranteed hours and a permanent role after 12 weeks.TPBN1_UKTJ
