Head of Facilities Management & ComplianceLocation: North West LondonRate: £570 per day (Umbrella)Contract: 3-month ongoing contractWorking Pattern: HybridWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Head of Facilities Management & Compliance to join a busy Local Authority in North West London on an interim basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a senior FM professional to lead the delivery of both Hard and Soft Facilities Management services while ensuring statutory compliance across a diverse property portfolio. You will also play a key role in supporting the implementation of a new Facilities Management service structure.Key Responsibilities\n

• Lead the delivery of Hard and Soft Facilities Management services across the organisation.
\n
• Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met and maintained across the property portfolio.
\n
• Support the implementation of the new Facilities Management service structure.
\n
• Provide strategic leadership to Facilities Management and Compliance teams.
\n
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure service delivery meets agreed standards and KPIs.
\n
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and best practice across FM and compliance functions.
\n
• Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to improve service delivery and operational performance.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, health and safety requirements and industry standards.
\n
• Manage budgets, resources and contracts effectively.
\n

About You\n

\n
• Significant experience leading Hard and Soft Facilities Management services.
\n
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance within a property or corporate estate environment.
\n
• Experience supporting organisational change and service transformation.
\n
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
\n
• Previous experience working within a Local Authority is essential.
\n
• Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
\n
