Weekend FLT Drivers Pay : £13.65 Location : Knowsley, L34 Shifts : 06:00-18:00 Days : Saturday, Sunday & MondayOverview We are seeking a skilled FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating forklifts safely, and supporting the overall management of goods within the warehouse environment. This role is vital in ensuring smooth logistics operations and maintaining a safe, organised workspace.DutiesOperate forklift trucks to load, unload, and move materials across the warehouseAssist with shipping and receiving activities, including checking deliveries and preparing items for dispatchUtilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accuratelyPerform basic equipment repairs and maintenance checks on forklifts and other machinery as neededHandle materials carefully, ensuring proper stacking and storage to optimise space utilisationSupport with stock organisation, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipmentConduct safety inspections before use of equipment and report any faults or hazards immediatelyAssist in general warehouse duties to ensure a clean and safe working environmentQualificationsA valid, in-date and accredited forklift licence is essentialProven experience operating forklift trucks (counterbalance) within a warehouse settingStrong understanding of materials handling techniques and safety protocolsAbility to perform basic maths accurately for inventory counts and measurementsCapable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the shiftPrevious experience in shipping & receiving operations is desirableGood organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and stock managementBasic knowledge of warehouse safety standards and proceduresThis position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with relevant experience in warehousing logistics to contribute to a dynamic team while developing their skills further.TPBN1_UKTJ
