CNC Machinist

My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Turner and a CNC Miller Set and operate high precision machine, working to tight tolerances.Whats on offer:Working pattern 6-2/2-10 with an early finish on Fridays !ability to increase hourly rate training on new machinesOvertime availableGreat company team and cultureExcellent pension scheme and life assuranceFree onsite parkingSick pay scheme and cash health planThe Job:Set and Edit programmes using Fanuc controls.Experience of programming would be a distinct advantage.Knowledge of manual machining would be desirable.Must be able to read an interpret engineering drawings.Inspection of own work using conventional measurement techniquesConfident CNC Turner or Miller with programming experience would be an advantageTraining and progression offeredAbout you:Experience of working within a metal cutting environment producing precision parts to tight tolerancesExperience of operating, setting up and editing of Turning lathes or Milling on VMC or HMCAbility to read and understand technical drawings.Confidence and the ability to work in a precision engineering environment and the ability to work on bespoke and one-off items.Experience of tooling and set-ups would be a distinct advantage.Flexible to work rotating day shifts.willing to work overtime as and when requiredThis role offers a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking to gain new skills, working with a niche precision engineering company that is highly respected throughout the world.
