Role OverviewLynx Recruitment is supporting an established and growing consulting practice is seeking an experienced, commercially minded Senior Business Consultant to lead complex client engagements across both private and public sector organisations. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, requiring someone who can build strong senior relationships while driving high-quality outcomes from mobilisation through to implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesClient DeliveryLead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream consulting engagementsDevelop diagnostics, business cases, operating models, and strategic roadmapsPresent clear, compelling recommendations to senior (C-suite) stakeholdersManage project risks, timelines, budgets, and overall qualityClient Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to grow and expand existing engagementsAct as a credible advisor on strategic and operational challengesPractice DevelopmentContribute to business development activities (proposals, pitches, market engagement)Support development of methodologies, thought leadership, and internal assetsMentor and coach junior consultants, fostering a high-performance cultureRequired Experience & Skills10+ years experience in management consulting (ideally within a recognised consultancy or Big 4 environment)Proven ability to independently lead large, complex engagementsStrong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilityExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills at executive levelCommercial acumen, including experience with P&L, business cases, and value creationExperience managing and developing junior team membersDegree-level education (MBA or relevant professional qualification advantageous)TPBN1_UKTJ
