Job Role: Welder FabricatorLocation: LeicesterRate: £15-£16 per hour depending on experienceShift: 8am to 4:30pm Monday to FridayBenefits: Overtime, Free Parking, Company Events, Pension Scheme, Progression OpportunitiesAbout the Company:Our client is an established sheet metal manufacturer based in Leicester. They manufacture a wide range of sheet metal products and offer services including laser cutting, punching, folding, fabrication and powder coating. They produce everything in-house, supplying customers in the retail, industrial and merchandising sectors.Key Responsibilities:Read, interpret, and build from construction drawings as assigned.Interpret and build from sketches, photos, video, or other media as assigned.Lay out steel construction efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy prior to welding.Measuring, cutting, and bending of steel components for construction.Steel cleaning and cleaning supervision when working with scene shop interns.Operation of all the following equipment: MIG welder, drill press, horizontal band saw, portable band saw, abrasive saw, angle grinder, roller bender, tap & die.Double checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work.Fabricating and constructing metal componentsPerforming quality checks on completed products.Completing job reportsWork in a safe, efficient, and organized manner.Any other tasks as requested by the Supervisor/ManagerAbout You:Minimum 3 years' experienceMust be able to safely operate a MIG/TIG welder.Ability to read engineering drawings.Must be able to safely lift heavy loads.Capable of working under minimal supervision and to deadlinesPositive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative manner.Apply:To apply for the Welder Fabricator please submit your CV and one of our Consultants will be in touch.TPBN1_UKTJ
