Immediate starts are available following a successful interview process.Our client is a well-established manufacturer specialising in electrical control panels and assemblies. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled team in a hands-on role with long-term potential.Your role as a Panel WirerReading and interpreting CAD schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel diagramsBuilding BMS and power plates to customer specificationsInstalling and wiring electrical control panelsUsing and maintaining tools including cutting tools, power tools, and test equipmentInspecting and testing panels before dispatchPacking panels effectively for deliveryIdentifying and reporting faults in electrical wiring systemsAdhering to Health & Safety procedures and company standardsSupervising and transferring skills to apprentices or semi-skilled workersRequirementsMinimum 1-year practical experience as a Panel WirerAbility to read and interpret electrical specifications and diagramsKnowledge of single and three-phase circuits, wiring accessories, and safety regulationsGood communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a teamDemonstrable ability to read and understand electrical circuits and carry out fault findingStrong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively between workshop and office teamsPrevious Team Leader or supervisory experience would be advantageous for higher-paid positionsWillingness to take on additional responsibility following a successful probation periodCSCS accreditation preferredFull clean driver's licence desirablePay & Shifts£13.00 - £16.00 per hour depending on experience and a successful interviewCandidates seeking a higher rate of £15.00 - £16.00 per hour must be able to demonstrate advanced circuit understanding, fault-finding capabilities, strong communication skills, and Team Leader or supervisory experienceMonday to Friday: Start between 07:00 AM - 08:30 AM40 hours working weekWhat's in it for you?This can lead to a Permanent position after the successful period, this is a minimum 12 weeks period via Pure StaffWeekly pay from an experienced payroll teamHoliday is accrued up to a maximum of 28 days (pro-rata)Supportive and friendly working environmentFree onsite parkingClean and organised workshop facilitiesHow to Apply for the role of Panel WirerTo apply, please send your up-to-date CV to this advert or call 01905 20547 and speak to one of our recruitment consultants today!
