Finance Business Partner

You thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoy turning financial data into meaningful business insight.You'll also have:CIMA or ACCA qualification (or be actively studying at the final level)A minimum of five years' experience within a busy finance functionStrong product costing experience within a manufacturing environment is essentialExperience preparing management accounts and delivering insightful financial analysisStrong Excel skills with SAP or similar ERP experience is requireExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive, collaborative approach with strong attention to detailA continuous improvement mindset and a passion for driving efficienciesAbout The RoleBased at their main production facility in East Manchester, you'll take ownership of the financial performance for several large-turnover profit centres.Reporting to the UK FD, you'll act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to site leadership teams, helping drive operational efficiencies, improve profitability and support strategic decision-making.Partnering with site leaders to identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunitiesPresenting quarterly financial performance to leadership teamsAnalysing trends and providing commercial insight to support decision-makingAssessing new customer profitability and capital investment opportunitiesProducing month-end management accounts for your allocated sitesPreparing accruals, prepayments and journalsReviewing and challenging financial performance through detailed variance analysisMaintaining accurate standard costs through monthly product re-costingSupporting budgeting and forecasting activitiesCalculating overhead recovery rates and managing cost allocationsSupporting internal and external auditsPreparing VAT returns and ensuring financial complianceHelping strengthen financial controls across the businessAbout The BusinessA successful manufacturing group of companiesWell respected in their specialised fieldThey have built a collaborative and innovative culture, and they truly value their people and reward those who go the extra mileTPBN1_UKTJ
