If so, we have a great opportunity for you!Here at GXO Logistics , we have an exciting position for a full-time, permanent Class 1 driver to work , Monday to Friday , joining our delivery team for our customer in Blackburn , BB2 7FS .As a class 1 driver you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of small to large high-value consignments that require special handling conditions. Within this role you will transport assets for our aerospace customer within the UK and Europe when required. This would be a great opportunity for any HGV driver looking to develop themselves within a unique operation.In accordance with National Security Requirements all roles related to this site and contract are subject to the successful candidate achieving suitable personal security clearance.You will be contracted to work Monday to Friday , 42.5 hours per week, with the start time 07:00 to 16:30Pay, benefits and more:Annual salary up to £40,656.53Monthly paid32 days holiday inclusive of Bank HolidaysWorkplace pensionAccess to our Hapi App platform, offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!Opportunities for career development and progression, as well as training enrichment and multiskilling, in a dynamic working environmentWhat youll do on a typical day:Carry out inter-site and intra-site deliveries and collections across the Northwest, with occasional nationwide and international work including some nights away from home when neededWork as part of a double-manned driving team when requiredProvide a high standard of customer service, consistently meeting customer expectationsAccurately complete and return all required documentation at the end of each shiftComply fully with driving hours regulations, legislation, and company policiesWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Hold a valid Class 1 licence with full DCPC qualification and an in-date passportDemonstrate strong communication skills with a responsible, reliable, and professional attitudeBe flexible with working hours, including overtime, nights out, and weekends plus international work when required all in line with WTD and EU Drivers Hours RegulationsMulti-drop, deliveries, collections experience is desirableNo more than 6 current penalty points: No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 yearsWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.TPBN1_UKTJ
