This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong mechanical aptitude to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.8-4:30 Monday to Thursday and Friday 8-2Pay Rate negotiableDutiesCutting, shaping, and assembling aluminium sheets and profiles according to technical drawings and specificationsOperating hand tools, power tools, and specialised tooling to perform fabrication tasksGrinding and finishing aluminium surfaces to achieve smooth, polished resultsWelding aluminium components securely using appropriate techniquesInterpreting technical drawings and basic measurements to ensure accurate assemblyPerforming routine inspections of fabricated parts for quality assuranceAssisting in the setup and calibration of machinery and equipment used in fabrication processesMaintaining a clean and organised workspace to adhere to safety standardsSkillsProven experience in aluminium fabrication, welding, grinding, and assembly processesMechanical knowledge with an understanding of sheet metal properties and handling techniquesProficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised tooling safely and effectivelyAbility to interpret technical drawings and perform basic mathematical calculations for measurementsStrong attention to detail with excellent organisational skillsGood communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamPrior experience with sheet metal work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidateThis position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to advance their skills within the aluminium fabrication industry.TPBN1_UKTJ
