SEND Teaching Assistant (1:1 Pupil Support)Ideal Start Date: September 2026 (a later start date may be considered)Edgbaston, BirminghamActual Salary: £22,294 - £23,404 per annum, dependent on relevant experience, skills and qualificationsHours: Full time, 40 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid break.Working Weeks: Term time only (35 weeks plus all INSET days)Please note the requirement for this role is associated with this specific pupilThe RoleWe are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, supportive and proactive Teaching Assistant with relevant experience of working with children with additional needs either on a 1:1 or small group capacity.Experience of working within a secondary school setting is desirable, however primary experience from Year 5 upwards would also be considered.This rewarding role will involve providing dedicated 1:1 support to a KS3 pupil with Special Educational Needs, Working in close collaboration with the class teacher, and the Head of Learning Success, you will be involved in creating and adapting resources and study skills to assist the pupil accessing learning.
