About the CompanyThe company is a small manufacturing company based in East Sussex and has recently won major awards for its business performance and innovation.Working in an expanding market supplying the NHS, Universities and Clinics, the company designs, builds and tests top of the range specialist equipment used in the treatment of wheelchair and Bariatric Patients particularly in the field of Dentistry.Although the company is based in Southeast England, the company supplies the whole of the UK, North America, Europe and some far eastern countries.The company is in the process of becoming an employee-owned trustJob Description.After extensive training in both electrical and mechanical assembly at our Sussex base, the successful applicant will be mainly field based working with our NHS partners across the whole of the United Kingdom servicing and repairing Design Specific equipment.Although, much of the field servicing is a single person task, there will also be two-person servicing requirements anywhere in the UK.In time the role will include training of customers staff in the use and maintenance of our equipment.Dependent upon workload, there will be requirements to support production in the main factory, carrying out assembly and testing duties.As the company continues to expand its client base across Europe and North America there will be opportunities for travel to these locations.About you:Ideally, we are looking for a time served individual who has some experience with electrical and mechanical devices.Able to work both alone and as parts of a small team in a clear and safe working manner.Good fault finding and problem-solving abilities, with training.Willingness to travel.Clean Driving License.A willingness to learnTPBN1_UKTJ
