Immediate Temporary Opportunity – Production Planner SchedulerJob Title: Production Planner / Scheduler - Temporary ContractJob Reward: £40,000 – £45,000 (DOE)Job Availability - Immediate start preferredJob Location: Wrexham areaJob Type: Site-based, Monday to FridayI'm currently supporting a fast-paced, highly automated FMCG manufacturing site in the Wrexham area with an urgent requirement for a Production Planner / Scheduler to join on a temporary contract basis, minimum 3 months ongoing.This is a key position within a high-volume process and packaging environment, where accurate planning and agile scheduling are critical to maintaining maximum operational efficiency.Role & Responsibilities - Production Planner / Scheduler - Temporary ContractDevelop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules aligned to customer demand and service levelsSequence production across automated processes and packaging lines to optimise efficiency and minimise changeoversManage capacity planning, line utilisation, and bottlenecks within a high-speed manufacturing environmentCoordinate materials availability, packaging requirements, and production prioritiesSupport planning for promotions, seasonal demand, and NPD launchesLiaise with operations, engineering, supply chain, and procurement teams to ensure plan adherenceMonitor and adjust schedules in real-time to respond to downtime, supply issues, or demand changesDrive continuous improvement across planning accuracy, OTIF, waste reduction, and throughputWhat We're Looking For - Production Planner / Scheduler - Temporary ContractExperience as a Production Planner, Scheduler, Supply Chain Planner, or Inventory Planner, or SchedulerBackground in FMCG, food & drink, or other fast-paced manufacturing environmentsProven experience planning within automated, high-volume process and packaging operationsStrong working knowledge of SAP / APO (or similar ERP/MRP systems) and advanced ExcelAbility to balance short-term scheduling with operational constraints and demand changesA proactive individual who can hit the ground running and deliver immediate valueWhy Apply?
