This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to combine hands-on transactional finance with team leadership in a varied and rewarding role.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the day-to-day running of the transactional finance team.Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, banking and nominal ledger activities.Complete bank reconciliations and maintain cashbooks.Prepare journals and support month-end processes.Review and coordinate supplier payment runs.Support rent accounting and ledger reconciliations.Work closely with the Financial Controller to improve processes and ensure deadlines are met.RequirementsPrevious experience in a busy finance environment.Strong purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliation experience.Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting a finance team.Confident using accounting systems ( Xero) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach.If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership, lead a small team and make a real impact within a supportive organisation, I'd love to hear from you.??
