7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver

Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for 7.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Leeds.You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries route plans are put together for your daily, and your vehicle is pre loaded each morning.The shifts are 5 days on and 3 days off, the days will be on a rota basis, with two 30-minute breaks, morning, and afternoon.A DBS check will be required for this role.The duties of the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver include:Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving roleEnsuring the right products get to the right places at the right timeFollowing a delivery routePre calling customers before arrivalFilling in paperwork as and when requiredRemoving all packaging from each deliveryThe ideal 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have:Experience within a similar roleA full UK driving licence with no more than 6 pointsCPCTACOThe ability to handle heavy goodsA clean DBSThe hours of work for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver are 5 days on 3 days off, the working days cover any 5 over Monday Sunday, you must be available to work between the hours of 7.00am 6.15pm.The salary for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be £14.21 per hour / £33,415.20 per annum, any hours over 45 will be paid at time and a half.TPBN1_UKTJ
